I received with pains the death of your wife - JOY CHUKS EKE. Though the death was too sudden, fought with unparalleled energy in the face of the pains and anguish that characterized her ill health. From my own experience the death of a parent in any family is always very painful and devastating. And in times like this, words, both written and spoken may not be enough to console the directly bereaved ones, but BE STRONG. Please accept my heartfelt condolence as I join you and others in praying for her eternal repose. Be assured that she is resting in the Lord for Heaven was in her before she was in Heaven. The picture of the late Mrs Joy I see whenever I remember her is the warm smile she always has whenever I meet her. She was very hospitable and easy going. The crater her demise has created cannot be filled. What would 'Nna-anyi Eke', her husband, do? Who would give the needed motherly and wifely care to her young family? I can't imagine the lonesomeness, the emptiness... her absence would bring to her family! Truly, onwu amaghi egbu! It harvests the most unripe of fruits. Good night Sis!

1Thessalonians 5:16 -18 says, "Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus" Finally, the book of Jeremiah 29:11 says, "For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future" on the contrary, Mrs Nkechi Joy Eke is not gone, She has been called home by her maker, the Creator of the universe. God, who is Almighty and ever Living. To God be the Glory!

Nothing pains more than the demise of a dearly loved one. Especially when it happens within an age so tender. But in all your cries, sorrows and mourning, as a Christian, allow yourself to be consoled by the fact that death is not the end of it all, but only a transition of the Soul. The Book of Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 says, *For everything, there is a season...a time to be born and a time to die...* An Igbo song says "Abali abuo ka mmadu nwere n'uwa, ubochi omumu na ubochi onwu".1Thessalonians 5:16

Dear Ma, Your death is a big loss to your family and of great pain to everyone you left behind. You fought so hard to survive, but I guess the Lord has his plans. I would have love to ask him why he picks the good ones, leaving the bad with us; but I know it would only amount to rhetorics. I pray you find rest in the peace of Christ and may our Blessed Mother carry you in her bosom with the Lord's angels at your beckons. We miss you,but never forgotten in our hearts. Farewell Ma'am! I have come to realize that no matter what we do on earth there is a day for our departure, yes there is a day we wouldn't wake up to see our families and loved once here on Earth, yes, there is a day we wouldn't wake up to continue with those goals, plans and visions, this is a day we wouldn't have that breath we have in our nostrils now and that day came for sister Joy Eke not that she wanted it this way but she had no choice,Sis, I just wished you stayed longer than this, cus you were such a beautiful soul to always be with, so lovely, meek and calm.your smile alone always cause me to wonder if you do get angry.sis you will always be remembered because you made such a great impact in the lives of people around you within your short stay here on earth.

According to Thomas Moore " Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal". In another account Shakespeare averred That death is a necessary end that comes when it will come. Again he said " That we shall die we all know it's but the time and drawing days out that men stand upon" Requiescat in pace our dear group members wife. Till we meet to part no more.

Personally I did not come in contact with you. Your husband is well known to me as a humble and honest gentleman. Definitely his love for you demonstrates how good you were before your demise. May Almighty God receive you in His heavenly kingdom.
